1. Services

1.1 Abacus Facilities Services provides property maintenance services, including but not limited to plumbing, fencing, building work, electrical repairs, painting/decorating, and landscaping.

1.2 All services provided by us are subject to the specific terms agreed upon in a written quote or service agreement.

1.3 We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. Quotes and Pricing

2.1 All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified.

2.2 Quotes are based on information provided by the client and visual inspections where applicable. Additional charges may apply if unforeseen issues are discovered during the course of work.

2.3 We will notify you of any additional costs before proceeding with work that exceeds the quoted price.

2.4 All prices are subject to applicable taxes.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 For smaller jobs (under £500), payment is due upon completion of work.

3.2 For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work commences, with the balance due upon completion or according to an agreed payment schedule.

3.3 We accept payment by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cheque.

3.4 Late payments may incur additional charges at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.

4. Scheduling and Access

4.1 We will make every effort to complete services at the agreed-upon time. However, certain circumstances beyond our control (weather conditions, supplier delays, etc.) may cause delays.

4.2 You agree to provide our team with necessary access to your property to perform the agreed services.

4.3 If you need to reschedule, we require at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

5. Warranties

5.1 We warrant that our work will be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with industry standards.

5.2 For workmanship, we provide a warranty period of 12 months from completion, unless otherwise specified.

5.3 Manufacturer warranties for products and materials used will be passed on to the client where applicable.

5.4 Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our services.

6.2 We are not liable for any pre-existing property conditions or issues.

6.3 Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.

6.4 We are not responsible for consequential damages or losses arising from our services.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1 You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your property and service requirements.

7.2 You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals required for the work, unless we have explicitly agreed to handle this.

7.3 You agree to remove or protect valuable or fragile items from the work area.

8. Website Use

8.1 The content on our website is for informational purposes only.

8.2 You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any material from our website without our prior written consent.

8.3 We make no warranties about the accuracy or reliability of the content on our website.

9. Privacy
